We are delighted to have been approved as EI CPD Trainers. This accreditation also means that our Yellow Belt course is now Engineers Ireland CPD (Continual Professional Development) approved.

The CPD cycle runs from 1st January to 31st December each year. CPD activities are measured in hours.

How is our CPD calculated?

Assuming a standard working day is 7 hours, a one day programme or training course CPD, equals 7 hours CPD, with our Yellow Belt course valued at 14 hours CPD.

 

What is the benefit of CPD?

CPD is a way of planning your development that links learning directly to practice.

CPD helps you keep your knowledge and skills up to date and support your career progression. It can boost your confidence, strengthen your professional credibility, help you become more creative and ahead of trends in the area of expertise.

Engineers Ireland recommends that members aim to undertake a balance of CPD activities across the different CPD categories and suggests that self-directed learning should count for no more than a maximum of 14 hours of your annual total.
